Welcome to an E-Tour of Woodsdale Animal Hospital!
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks, and CareCredit.
As you come in the door you will see our over-the-counter foods directly ahead of you. We carry Hill's Science Diet, Blue Buffalo, and Natural Balance. We also have Greenies and CET dental treats.
Directly to your right is our waiting area, where you can enjoy cup of coffee, read a magazine, or watch our flat screen TV.
To your left you will see the reception area. Here you will be greeted by one of our receptionists, checked in and your pet will be weighed. If you are a new client, or a client who has not been to our hospital in a while, we may ask you to fill out some paperwork.
If you are here for an appointment, then you and your pet will be welcomed into one of our exam rooms.
If your dog or cat is here for a bath or for grooming, we will check them in and carry them to the back where they will spend the day with our groomer, Brittany.
If you are bringing in a small dog or a cat to board, we will make sure they are comfortable in their cages. Each pet has their own cage (pets from the same owner can be boarded together by request), and dogs are taken out three times a day to run in the grass.
If you have a larger dog they will spend their stay with us in one of our 12 runs. If your dog is staying with us for an extended stay, we can let them spend some time in our outdoor play area.
For sick pets, we have in hospital testing so we can diagnose your pet and help them feel better faster. This includes blood work, urinalysis, digital radiographs, and ultrasound.
If your pet is having surgery, you will be checked in by one of our veterinary assistants and your pet will be carried into the back where they will be prepared and operated on by Dr. Soares.
We use SevoFlurane anesthesia (which is a kind of anesthesia used for human surgeries, especially children).
Our doctors make use of Laser Surgery, which is safer and allows for faster healing times!
If your pet is having dental work done, we will carry them into the treatment area where the dental work will be done by Dr. Soares and an assistant.
When your pet is all done, they will be housed in one of our treatment cages under the watchful eye of our veterinary assistants, kennel workers and Dr. Soares.
We hope you have enjoyed your tour. If you have any questions you can go ahead and give us a call at (336)599-0611 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you soon!
